Adrian Erickson, the man behind the vision.
I first gazed over the panorama of what was to become Regal Ridge, in 1999. Except for a lucky few living there, this area was largely undiscovered, even though it is minutes away from Osoyoos, home to Canada’s prestigious wine region, charming family orchards as well as the warmest lake and climate in the country.
My day starts with the cries of the song birds as the early morning sunlight filters through the trees. The air is crisp as I sip my coffee and inhale that fresh mountain air. Perhaps it is the scent of pine, the spicy odor of fir, the fragrance of wild roses, the sweet aroma of clover, or the herbal smell of sagebrush; the blend is intoxicating, as are the views, as you walk the land, your land, the land you share with the deer, the elk, the song birds and the raptors.
I personally lay out every road, every driveway and every building site to minimize disturbance, maximize the view and seclusion. Nearly all facets of development are done in-house, resulting in sustained quality and excellent value, and nothing has given me the sense of pride and accomplishment that Regal Ridge has.
Just how many places are there in the Okanagan, where you can witness the sunrise and sunset from your patio, or walk out to the hiking trails interconnecting 3000 acres of pristine conservation area?
Regal Ridge is truly unique, an affordable blend of nature and estate living, where neighbours become friends, and where friends come to stay.
